We study photons statistics, spin squeezing and quantum entanglement in a system of two identical optical cavities coupled via two-particle exchange. We solve quantum optical master equation numerically to obtain the steady state density operator and hereby to characterize the optical coherence by using zero-time delay second-order correlation function. We use genuine two-mode entanglement parameter to examine mode entanglement and an optimal spin squeezing inequality is used to characterize spin squeezing and particle entanglement. We search for the effects of nonlocal nonlinearity of exchange interaction on photon statistics. Based upon the inter-cavity two-axis twisting spin squeezing nature of the two-particle exchange coupling, we compare the steady state behaviors of quantum entanglement and quantum coherence with that of the case of single-particle exchange.
