Physical principles for statistical model of quantization    [PDF]

We have previously proposed a statistical model of quantization based on a stochastic deviation from infinitesimal stationary action following an exponential law. In the present work we shall show that the model can be derived uniquely from three physical principles: (1) Microscopic indeterminism; (2) Lagrangian scheme; and (3) No correlation without interaction or separability. The first two lead to a class of statistical models with generic `non-local correlations' and the third principle uniquely selects the exponential law.
